An email was sent out today to briefly explain the reasons why.
I will update everyone when I will be holding a short presentation to explain the ethos behind it in more detail and giving you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Miss Liz

As you may have noticed, Miss Liz has not been in school recently.
I wanted to update and let you know that Miss Liz is having physiotherapy on her knee and will be absent for the next two weeks.
Hopefully after her treatments she will be ready to return to school but I will update you if it is going to be any longer.

You may have seen Miss Maria within Reception, she is a very experienced Higher level teaching assistant recently arrived from the uk and is covering Miss Liz until she returns.
Miss Maria has been working in our school in Tafira since the beginning of the year and teaches at our Saturday School here.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to come and speak to me.

We all wish Miss Liz and speedy recovery and look forward to her returning.

Home toys

This week I have noticed quite a few children bringing in toys from home, unless it is a special day of bringing in a toy from home I discourage any toys being brought it.

It causes arguments as other children wish to play with them, and I cannot ensure that their toys will not get broken or lost.

Please do not allow your child to bring in any toys (even if it’s kept in their school bag) as they are sneaking them out at break times.

Thank you for your support.
