Trip on Friday

 

Unfortunately, the trip on Friday has been cancelled due to the high winds that have damaged the activity tents.

 

We are still collecting items for the charity, the Elves will be coming to school to collect them this week.

 

If you can donate and childrens toys, soap, shower gels, shampoos, and baby food/nappies it would be gratfeully apprecaited.

As it is the countdown to Christmas, the show, special visitors, etc the children are not having RWI lessons this week or next week.
We will however be practising the sounds we know to read and write, along with the set 1.1,1.2,1.3 and 1.4 words that I have previously blogged.
 

Literacy Focus

 

This weeks Literacy focus is CHRISTMAS!!
 

The children will be completing various activities to do with Christmas.

On Thursday the class will be doing a Word Time lesson.

Return of parent letters

Miss Lory is still awaiting some outstanding letters regarding Christmas, Trip, etc.

Today´s Maths

 

 

 

 

Today the class were learning about 2D shapes, after their lessons they had various shape activities to complete such as shape pattern printing, shape sorting and using the shape building blocks to make building, cars, etc. We also went on a shape gfidning activity around the classroom where the children had to find various shapes in the environment.
