Due to the Canarian celebrations Tuesday and the Fiesta day Wednesday, we will not be doing Read Write Inc this week.

 

We will continue next week.

Read Write Inc

This week the children are being assessed on the progress they have made this half term.
Their results will determine their groupings from next week, which means that the groups will change next week.

I have included another handwriting practice booklet for the children to complete at home (encouraging the muscle development within their hands) and gain strength in their pencil control.

 

This week in maths the children have been learning how to double and halve object, I will send home a doubling and halving worksheet for them to consolidate their learning of this area of maths.

End of Year Show

 

 

 

I have sent an email regarding the costumes for Reception class for the end of year show,

they will be dressed as crocodiles, and singing 'Never smile at a crocodile' song from Peter Pan.

We have started singing practice at school and will also be learning a few songs from the whole show for them to join in with.

Each week they will listen to a superhero story and complete activities around the story.
