Dinosaur classroom

We are trying to change the classroom into a dinosaur class room as the children decided they wanted to be called dinosaur class.

If you child would like to make anything dinosaur themed to decorate the classroom that would be fantastic.

Tapestry

Just a reminder, I have not received everyone's permission slip for tapestry and trips.
If you haven't completed it, I will send a copy home tonight, lease can you complete it and send it back tomorrow, as I need to get the details updated before I can start using the program for observations.
Also please check your junk account as not everyone has accepted for the observations to be emailed to you, a new email has been sent to the outstanding parents.

Plastic school carrier bag

On Friday, a plastic sealable carrier bag was sent home with some activities the children had completed. Could this bag be sent back to school for this weeks work and activities to be taken on Friday.

Maths focus

This weeks maths focus is about making patterns.

Shape patterns, colour patterns, movement patterns, musical patterns.

Each day the children's maths lesson will be on making different patterns.

And activities will be put out in continuous provision to enhance their learning. 

RWI sounds

Next weeks Read Write Inc sounds are

They will learn all four sounds, one per day and then recap the four on Friday. 

If you are unsure how to pronounce any sounds please come and ask.

Mud kitchen and gardening area

Reception are developing a gardening and mud kitchen area, if you have got any old pots, pans, wooden spoons, etc for the mud kitchen and any cuttings, seeds for the gardening area would be much appreciated.
